Drive with Odysse

Odysse partners with Bolt, where you receive passenger bookings as part of the Odysse fleet. We pay you for every qualifying online hour, including waiting time between trips, and provide operational support to help you earn more efficiently. You choose how you work: enjoy flexible hours with a contribution towards your vehicle costs, or complete 48 qualifying hours a week to unlock enhanced vehicle support. Strong and consistent performance can also open up further opportunities with Odysse.

You are paid for every qualifying online hour, whether or not you have a passenger on board, and your hourly pay includes holiday pay. On top, you earn a bonus for every passenger-on-board hour at weekends, and a share of the revenue you generate on strong weeks. We take you through the exact figures at interview, and your agreement sets out the terms.

On top of your hourly pay, when the revenue you generate for Odysse in a week passes a set level, you share in everything above it. The busier and more efficient your week, the more you earn. We explain the details at interview.

Each week is looked at on its own. Complete 48 qualifying online hours and you unlock an enhanced vehicle contribution that week, up to a weekly maximum, whether you rent your vehicle or own it. Drive fewer hours and you still receive a vehicle contribution for every passenger-on-board hour. Vehicle contribution is subject to eligibility and the terms offered to you.

No. There is no minimum when you drive flexibly, and you choose your hours within the guiding schedule Odysse shares based on expected demand. To unlock the enhanced vehicle contribution, you need to complete 48 qualifying online hours in that week.

Flexibility over hours does not mean flexibility over performance. While online, your waiting time should stay at or below 25%. Persistent waiting above this level may end the arrangement. The team will explain how it is measured and what is excluded, such as charging.

Odysse pays the Congestion Charge and airport fees for qualifying work automatically, so there is nothing for you to pay or claim back. You also receive a charging allowance for every qualifying passenger-on-board mile. Insurance, maintenance and any vehicle costs not covered by your vehicle contribution remain your responsibility.

You need a qualifying fully electric vehicle with a valid TfL PHV licence and hire-and-reward insurance. If you do not have one, Odysse can help you rent a qualifying EV at a competitive price.

Once you have shown 8 weeks of consistent, reliable performance, you can apply for PAYE employment, a role in our autonomous vehicle fleet, or office career opportunities as we grow. Drivers who show commitment and perform consistently well for more than a year can also apply for a company-owned premium EV. None of these are guaranteed: each is conditional and at Odysse's discretion, subject to performance, eligibility, operational needs and availability. They are options, not requirements, and you can stay on your current arrangement if it suits you.
